ConMet Plastics in Denton, TX is seeking a Production Equipment Reliability Technician and Forklift Operator for a hybrid role. You will be the first responder for equipment issues, diagnose and fix assembly equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and record work in our maintenance software.

Material handling and packaging tasks are also part of the role. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 5+ years in maintenance or mechanical troubleshooting.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of maintenance, manufacturing, or mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Self-starter who can set priorities and work without close supervision.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift, motorized pallet jack, scissor lift, etc.
• Working knowledge of tools, equipment, and mechanical systems.

• Be the first call for equipment issues on the production floor and diagnose/fix assembly equipment, fixtures, and basic automation.
• Complete PMs and record all work using our maintenance software.
• Minimize downtime by restoring machines to safe operating condition quickly.
• Identify failure patterns and implement lasting corrective actions.
• Coordinate with leadership on major repairs or vendor support.
• Deliver/stage materials to work cells to keep production flowing.
• Move finished goods to designated areas and load/unload trucks as needed.
• Maintain FIFO discipline and basic inventory accuracy.
• Assist with packaging, labeling, and container preparation.
