Job summary

Repsol SA is seeking an Engineering intern to join the Production Engineering Team for Summer 2027 in The Woodlands, TX. The PE Intern will support the team to optimize production, analyze daily production figures, and pursue opportunities to maximize asset value while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Interns will work on live projects, receive mentoring, and present their summer project to staff.

Qualifications

• Must be two years into a Bachelor's in Engineering program (Petroleum or Chemical preferred).
• Minimum GPA 3.3 (major GPA must be 3.3 or higher).
• Available for a continuous 12-week period May 17–Aug 6, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Engineering team in evaluating production performance.
• Identify and help implement optimization opportunities for asset production.
• Support data analysis of reservoir and surface infrastructure information.
• Assist in budgeting inputs for OPEX and project tracking.
