Job summary

Repsol seeks an engineering student to intern with the Development Engineering Team during the summer of 2027. The Development Engineering Intern will support our Facilities and Process Engineering teams in the design, optimization, and execution of surface facilities and infrastructure for upstream oil and gas development.

This role offers hands-on exposure to project engineering, process modeling, and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• GPA 3.3+ required; unofficial transcripts acceptable for review.
• Must be available for a continuous 12-week internship May 17–Aug 6, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Support design, modeling, and optimization of surface facilities.
• Perform basic process simulations and equipment sizing.
• Contribute to cost estimates, PFDs, and P&IDs.
• Assist with field site visits and project documentation.
