Job summary

NGK Ceramics is seeking a Production Engineer to formulate, manage, and execute process improvement projects in the Honey-Ceram manufacturing area. The role involves problem solving around defect management, coordinating with maintenance, engineering, planning, and other teams to ensure smooth production operations.

The candidate will evaluate operation performance trends, manage inventories, and act as a bridge between the department and supporting teams, while prioritizing safety and quality

Qualifications

• Requires a 4-year engineering degree.
• Ability to interpret technical documents and communicate effectively.
• Experience with data analysis and process improvement is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Extract and evaluate data to identify projects and generate performance trend reports.
• Identify causes of defects and coordinate cross-functional teams to reduce variation.
• Coordinate maintenance events, manage inventories, and ensure safe, compliant operations.
• Promote safety, quality, efficiency and productivity across the department.
• Follow EMS procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives.
