Job summary

INEOS Energy is seeking a Production Engineer to own a producing area in the Eagle Ford assets, Denver, CO. You will manage production, deferment, LOE and profitability, partnering daily with field operations to troubleshoot, optimize artificial lift, and uplift performance.

You will leverage data, automation and AI to accelerate decisions, while maintaining safety and cost discipline in a lean team environment. Regular field presence is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years upstream oil & gas experience.
  • Experience with artificial lift and well surveillance.
  • Ability to build economics (NPV/IRR) and communicate findings.
  • Proficiency with data systems and automation tools.

Responsibilities

  • Own production, deferment, LOE and profitability for an area.
  • Design and optimize artificial lift systems and monitor performance.
  • Collaborate with field ops to troubleshoot and improve reliability.
  • Lead lookbacks, root cause analysis, and cost control.
  • Develop AI-assisted workflows and dashboards for decision making.
