Job summary

Flywheel Energy, LLC seeks an Engineering Supervisor to lead the production engineering team across the South Texas Eagle Ford asset. The role drives safe, compliant, reliable, and optimized production through strong people leadership and data-driven technical solutions.

You will be accountable for base production performance, workover and development program execution, and LOE discipline across a PDP-heavy asset, with regular field travel and cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive production/completions engineering in unconventional horizontal plays.
• Experience with artificial lift selection: gas lift, rod lift, plunger, ESP.
• Proven workover candidate generation and post-job lookback discipline.
• Fluent in AFE economics and LOE structure.
• Know-how with surveillance tooling: SCADA/Ignition, ARIES, WellView, Spotfire or Power BI.
• Familiar with RRC filing requirements and NSPS OOOO/OOOOb obligations.
• Prior supervisory experience or leading engineers in a technical lead capacity.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to align field and office teams.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly to field locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead team performance through structured monthly one-on-one meetings and coaching; define roles and expectations.
• Drive continuous improvement to maximize cash flow and minimize risk across Eagle Ford assets.
• Own workover cost and performance; review AFEs and communicate risks to stakeholders.
• Forecast LOE and workover spend; minimize variance with ROI-focused planning.
• Represent engineering in cross-functional forums; resolve resource conflicts and elevate issues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards including NSPS.
• Foster a collaborative, high-accountability environment where engineers own outcomes.
