ABOUT THE ROLE

The Production Engineer II is expected to champion data integrity for the Colorado aggregate sites to ensure an efficient flow of production data through SAP and other business systems, providing an uninterrupted supply of product through the system processes. The Production Engineer will be responsible for individual plant and production performance reporting, including equipment efficiency, uptime, downtime, CAPEX, and trend analysis. The incumbent will be seen as an SAP Super User and Data Gatekeeper, overseeing and assisting with administrative workflows, material creation, and management.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Demonstrate a commitment to safety policies and practices in all work environments.
• Promote safety culture through engagement with employees, JHSC, and subcontractors; implement and manage safety initiatives aiming for zero incidents.
• Track safety conformance and support management in accountability efforts.
• Verify production by product, maintain accurate costs, control inventory, and analyze productivity and material data.
• Update production diaries daily.
• Collaborate with plant managers/superintendents and clerks to improve inventory and production forecasting and management.
• Support operations teams as needed.
• Spend time in the field to understand aggregate operations.
• Potentially manage an aggregate operation temporarily based on operational needs.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 3 years of equivalent experience
Field of Study: Mining Engineering
Technical Skills: SAP, Loadrite, Propeller, Microsoft Office Suite
Travel: 50% across Colorado aggregate sites

Additional Requirements

• Adherence to safety protocols and proper PPE use, including respirators, with compliance to fit testing requirements.
