Job summary

ASML in Wilton, CT, is seeking a Production Engineer to support the manufacture of lithography tools. The role collaborates with engineers and technicians to ensure high quality, short lead-times, and continuous improvement of ASML’s products and processes.

You will work on production tooling, test plans, and root-cause analysis for electro-mechanical systems. Required is a BS in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Software/Electrical Engineering and 3+ years in engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Mechatronics or BS in Software or Electrical Engineering
• 3+ years in an Engineering environment
• Experience with precision mechanics a plus
• Working knowledge of Unigraphics, SAP, Unix a plus

Responsibilities

• BOM structure checks and component evaluations with D&E
• Define and create Manufacturing procedures and specifications
• Introduce new products into production in an existing Concurrent Engineering environment
• Create and design production tooling & qualification test
• Generate technical work instructions and Test plans
• Support production issues with concise troubleshooting of electro-mechanical systems and subsystems
• Evaluate and disposition failed parts with proposed solutions
• Review Failure Analysis Reports from suppliers and help validate root-cause
