Synthomer plc seeks a Production Engineer for its Jefferson Hills, PA site to support manufacturing units, ensure safe, stable operations, and assist in maintaining reliability. You will monitor data, troubleshoot issues, and drive improvements through debottlenecking and plant trials.

You will collaborate with HSES, Maintenance, and Product Development and may lead cross-functional teams on capital projects to boost productivity. A manufacturing background in chemical processing is required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering with 2–5 years in chemical engineering/relevant experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with large, continuous chemical processing equipment.
• Ability to interface with operations and maintenance and lead cross-functional teams.
• Strong troubleshooting to analyze process data and root causes; familiarity with DCS/PI Vision a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day support to ensure safe, stable and reliable operations.
• Monitor operating data, perform analyses and troubleshoot to meet operating plan.
• Identify and implement improvements via debottlenecking, plant trials, reliability gains.
• Develop procedures and provide operator training as needed.
• Lead incident investigations into process/equipment failures as appropriate.
• Represent the division on capital projects to improve productivity and capacity.
