Job summary

Nordex Group in the United States (Iowa) is seeking a Production Engineer to support the production team in delivering efficient, high‑quality wind energy products. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, safety, and collaboration across departments to optimize processes and meet production schedules.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in a related field, 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, and hands‑on shop floor expertise. Travel to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering or related technical discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production area requirements based on assembly plans and ensure timely availability of tools, equipment, and resources to meet the production schedule.
• Monitor, analyze, and report production KPIs to identify performance gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by implementing CAPA to enhance safety, quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Provide technical support and guidance to production teams, fostering a safe, collaborative, high‑performance environment.
• Lead or participate in cross‑functional projects aimed at improving efficiency, capacity, and process stability.
• Support audits, safety compliance, and plant layout optimization in coordination with relevant departments.
