Job summary

Nordex is seeking a Production Engineer to support clean-power manufacturing initiatives. You will manage production projects, drive continuous improvement, and provide technical guidance across multiple teams to improve safety, quality, cost, and delivery performance.

The role requires a strong shop-floor presence, experience with SAP/MES, and the ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics. Domestic and international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering or related technical discipline (preferred).
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing (Wind energy, Automotive, Aerospace, Heavy equipment or Industrial manufacturing).
• Hands-on shop-floor experience with operators, supervisors, and maintenance.
• Experience with audits, CAPEX projects, and layout changes.
• Experience with ERP/MES systems, especially SAP.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production area requirements and ensure tool/resource readiness to meet schedules.
• Monitor and report production KPIs to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Lead CAPA, drive corrective actions, and support safety, quality, and cost goals.
• Provide technical support to production teams and coordinate cross‑functional projects.
• Assist in layout design and continuous improvement initiatives with IE, HSE, and others.
