About the Role

We are looking for a mid-level Production Designer to become a trusted freelance partner, supporting a creative team on an intermittent, project-based schedule. This role is crucial for executing high-volume design tasks with precision, ensuring every output adheres to strict brand guidelines across both physical and digital platforms. You'll be instrumental in translating strategic visions into polished, production-ready assets that elevate the brand's presence and effectively communicate its message.

Your Impact and Responsibilities
  • Create and execute compelling layouts for essential marketing collateral, including product fact sheets, whitepapers, and sales decks, utilizing established templates and brand guidelines.
  • Design and meticulously prepare print-ready files for a range of environmental graphics, such as trade show booths, large-format banners, and event signage.
  • Develop engaging digital graphics and social media assets that align seamlessly with ongoing campaign branding.
  • Expertly prepare and pre-flight files for both print and digital production, ensuring all specifications like bleeds, resolution, color profiles, and export settings are perfect.
  • Act as a guardian of brand consistency, maintaining high visual standards across all deliverables to reinforce the company's identity.
Core Qualifications
  • Approximately 5 years of professional experience in graphic design and production.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • A strong understanding of print production processes, pre-press requirements, and digital file preparation best practices.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, production-focused environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within established brand guidelines and templates while consistently delivering high-quality work.
  • A reliable freelancer interested in an ongoing, intermittent partnership, capable of acknowledging project requests within 24 hours and confirming availability for each sprint.
Role Details

This is a freelance opportunity with variable, non-guaranteed hours, assigned on an as-needed basis, typically up to 20 hours per week. This flexible arrangement is ideal for a professional seeking to build a long-term relationship with a dynamic creative team.

Portfolio Requirement

Please submit a comprehensive portfolio showcasing your production-focused design work. We are particularly interested in examples of multi-page layouts, event or large-format signage, marketing collateral, and social media campaigns.
