Job summary

Tonic3 is seeking a Production Designer, Print & Digital to join our in-house team. You’ll transform creative concepts into production-ready assets across print and digital, ensuring brand consistency, accessibility, and technical accuracy for client-facing work.

This role requires agency experience, a strong portfolio, and proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. You’ll collaborate with designers, copywriters, developers, and project managers to deliver polished outputs on tight deadlines.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in graphic or production design.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Figma, with components, auto layout, libraries, and collaborative workflows.
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
  • Deep knowledge of print production specifications and experience preparing press-ready files.
  • Experienced in digital asset preparation for email, web, and other online platforms.
  • ADA accessibility standards knowledge for digital deliverables.
  • Portfolio demonstrating print and digital production work.
  • Agency experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Execute versioning, resizing, formatting, and adaptation of assets for multiple platforms and audiences.
  • Conduct thorough quality checks on all files to ensure accuracy, consistency, and visual polish before release.
  • Maintain organized asset libraries, version control systems, and production documentation.
  • Collaborate with designers, copywriters, developers, and project managers to support timely delivery of projects.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing speed with precision under tight deadlines.
  • Apply knowledge of printing processes, templates, and press-ready file preparation for high-quality print production.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of design systems and component libraries.
  • Stay up to date with production tools, techniques, and accessibility standards, proactively sharing insights with the team.

Position Overview

The Production Designer, Print & Digital, is a detail-oriented creative professional responsible for transforming design concepts into polished, production-ready assets across print and digital channels. You’ll play a critical role in bringing ideas to life by preparing, adapting, and finalizing creative materials while ensuring brand consistency, accessibility, and technical accuracy. Working closely with designers, copywriters, developers, and project managers, you’ll help deliver high-quality creative outputs on time in a fast-paced environment.

Salary:

$70,000 - $95,000 per year.

Location:

(3 days per week in office, 2 days remote)

What You’ll Do:

Who You Are:
