Overview:

The primary role of the Production Designer is to design and produce accurate, high-quality digital and print files while collaborating with strategists, designers, copywriters, project managers, account managers, and print specialists to execute creative projects efficiently. The role involves ensuring design consistency, maintaining brand guidelines, and optimizing assets for various formats in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include reviewing and preparing production files, organizing and optimizing files within our file sharing programs, streamlining workflows, and managing multiple projects while upholding high-quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Core duties include:

1. Preparing, proofing, and adjusting design files for print and digital production.
2. Ensuring artwork meets brand guidelines, production specifications, and quality standards.
3. Modifying existing creative assets for various formats and applications.
4. Collaborating and communicating with creative, development, and prepress teams to troubleshoot and optimize files for handoff in a timely manner.
5. Conducting quality checks and preflighting files to ensure accuracy in color, layout, and resolution.
6. Helping develop and finalize presentation decks, both internally and externally.
7. Maintaining organized files and following naming conventions and file management protocols.
8. Staying up to date with industry trends, software updates, and production techniques.
9. Following company policies, workflows, and procedures.
10. Completing assigned work on time and within budget.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications + Requirements:

The qualifications required include:

1. An associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. At least 5 years of experience in an agency environment.
3. Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
4. Strong attention to detail and focus on task completion.
5. Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills (oral & written).
6. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
7. Proficiency in Figma.
8. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Excel).
