Production Designer

for a

4-6 month contract

with a prestigious media and publishing company based in NYC. This role is remote and offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled designer to contribute to a high-profile project.

As a

Production Designer, you’ll collaborate closely with teams including Commerce Editorial, Marketing, and Content Operations to create and refine visually compelling content across digital platforms. This role provides an opportunity to showcase your design skills in a fast-paced environment while working with a well-established brand.

This is a part-time (20 hours/week), fully remote opportunity available to U.S.-based candidates only. The application deadline is Friday, May 2nd, 2025.

Responsibilities include:

• Working with stakeholders such as Commerce Editorial, Brand, Marketing, to maintain and elevate the visual identity of Condé Nast’s commerce content.
• Image editing and manipulation: stitching, collaging, retouching, resizing, silhouetting, using platforms like Pixelz.
• Product card creation: designing and delivering high volumes of product cards for editorial and product listing pages, adhering to brand standards and deadlines.
• Designing visual assets: logos, recirculation assets, on-site visuals, typography, and brand elements.
• Creating visuals for multiple platforms: web, email, social media, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
• Implementing feedback to refine creative assets.

Production Designer Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in eCommerce, marketing, or agency settings, focusing on design and production.
• Technical proficiency in Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Figma; familiarity with publishing tools and project management platforms like Airtable is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Learning agility to quickly adapt to new tools and techniques.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail for high-quality outputs.
• Ability to work independently and flexibly, adapting to shifting priorities.
• This position is remote, offering flexibility in work location and hours.
