Job summary

Texas Wood Supply in Houston seeks Production Entry Specialists to manage the flow of information between production builders’ operating systems and our internal order entry system for timely, accurate processing of orders for store delivery and invoicing.

You will prepare purchase orders, quotes and invoices; transfer data from paper formats; enter data from customers; and create spreadsheets while ensuring data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Data entry experience preferred.
• Experience with Bistrak software preferred.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare purchase orders, quotes and invoices.
• Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or databases.
• Enter data provided directly from customers.
• Accurately create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures.
• Verify data against source documents and correct as needed.
• Obtain information for incomplete documents.
• Update existing data.
• Retrieve data from database or electronic files as requested.
• Sort and organize paperwork after entry.
• Provide excellent customer service.
