Job summary

Murphy Family Ventures is seeking an Administrative Production Assistant in Wallace, NC to provide critical data management, reporting, and clerical support for the North Carolina Production Management Team. You will serve as a key contact for sow, grow/finish, poultry, and veterinary service operations, compiling reports, and assisting with scheduling and vendor orders.

Qualifications

3+ years in administrative data reporting in production/agri settings.
Advanced Microsoft 365 and Power BI skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication with remote teams/partners.
Experience with agricultural software (PigKnows, Barn Tools, Barn 360, Rotem Net Web).
Detail-oriented with non-compliance logs, checklists, and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

Data Management & Reporting: Gather, organize, and summarize production data from specialized platforms.
Veterinary & Compliance Support: Download lab reports, update health grades, manage PQA audit files and schedules.
Operational Coordination: Assist with farm setup/changes in E1 and Field to Base systems via forms and communications.
Purchasing & Logistics: Generate/receive POs for farm managers and maintain vehicle/contact lists.
Performance Tracking: Build comparative charts from poultry operation data and closeout reports.
Emergency Communications: Help broadcast urgent alerts to growers and field staff during critical events.
