Job summary

Allied Maker seeks a Production Coordinator to support the production team on the shop floor and in administration. You will confirm shipping information, monitor order readiness, and coordinate inventory while communicating across production, sales, and dispatch to keep orders moving smoothly.

Work closely with Production Managers to document progress, resolve delays, and ensure accuracy. This role sits on-site in a fast-paced environment focused on high-quality, luxury lighting manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Approximately 1 to 3 years in production, manufacturing, warehousing, operations, logistics, order coordination, or related environment.
• Strong organizational skills and careful attention to detail.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
• Ability to follow multiple orders and open items without losing track of details.
• Strong follow-through and willingness to take ownership of problems.
• Comfort communicating with production employees, managers, sales representatives, and clients.
• Ability to work effectively in both an office setting and an active production environment.
• Basic proficiency with email, spreadsheets, and standard business software.
• Experience with Wrike, NetSuite, inventory systems, or manufacturing software is helpful but not required.
• Ability to safely lift and move materials and components throughout the workday.
• Availability to work on-site Monday through Friday

Responsibilities

• Review upcoming orders and confirm shipping addresses and contact information.
• Contact clients or Sales to resolve missing or conflicting shipping information.
• Verify shipping instructions and special order requirements.
• Confirm information is documented in internal systems.
• Identify issues that could prevent shipping and escalate promptly.
• Support Dispatch with timely information as orders approach completion.
• Monitor production schedules and identify orders at risk of delay.
• Document communications and revised expectations with follow-ups.
• Serve as a bridge between production, inventory, sales, dispatch, and clients.
• Move materials between departments and keep staging areas organized.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to Production Managers.
• Help track open items, shortages, and next actions.
• Assist with coordinating urgent orders and production changes.
• Follow up with internal departments to obtain missing information or materials.
• Maintain orderly flow of work on the production floor.
• Take on additional production support responsibilities as needs change.
