Job summary

Victaulic seeks a Production Coordinator for Cookeville, TN to keep production schedules on track and inform supervisors and Mendix users about releases. You will own On Time Performance for SRS and Catalog orders, coordinating with VDC, Fab Material Coordinator, Sales, Customer Care, and branches to align project timelines and material lead times.

This role demands strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to work across teams in a fast-paced fabrication environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred experience in a manufacturing or steel fabrication environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows software and familiarity with SWI/SOP processes.
• Solid understanding of shop math and ability to use measuring tools.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently, efficiently, and be self-motivated and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Keep production schedules on track and inform Supervisors and Mendix users of schedules and releases.
• Attend facility meetings and ensure information flows to Mendix and supervisors.
• Coordinate with VDC, Fab Material Coordinator, Sales, Customer Care, and branches on projects and lead times.
• Schedule projects within Mendix and ensure they meet drawing specifications.
• Partner with Production Supervisors, Training, and Engineering on special projects.
• Identify and resolve project issues in Mendix with relevant teams to close them out.
• Manage fabrication correspondence and status updates.
• Release orders per schedule and manage BPCS-related items.
• Own On Time Performance for SRS and Catalog.
• Collaborate with MFG Admin on runtimes and data entry.
