Job summary

Genie Matthews and Associates is seeking a detail-oriented Production Coordinator to manage communications with factories on all production-related matters, track the lifecycle of styles in production, and ensure adherence to retailer requirements.

In this fast-paced role, you will follow up on production and delivery status via daily emails and our PLM system, coordinate lab dips and fittings with Design and Tech, and report progress to retailers and licensors as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in apparel production.
• Experience coordinating with factories and vendors.
• Knowledge of garment construction and material specs.
• Ability to interpret tech packs and production calendars.
• Proficient in PLM systems and email communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage communication to factories on all production related matters.
• Track lifecycle of all styles in production.
• Ensure adherence to retailer requirements for color, artwork, fabrics, and samples.
• Follow up on production and delivery status via daily emails and the PLM system.
• Track submits, approvals, and timelines with reports and daily factory updates.
• Coordinate lab dips, strike-offs, and samples with Design and Tech and relay comments.
• Coordinate approvals with retailers and licensors and liaise with their teams.
• Ensure all testing compliance is met.

Responsibilities:

• Manage communication to factories on all production related matters
• Tracking the lifecycle of all styles in production
• Followretailer requirements to factories for color, artwork, fabrics, PP samples, Testing
• Follow up on production and delivery status through daily emails and PLM system.
• Tracking of submits, approvals and timeline and production status with the following reports: Time and Action, Work in Processand daily emails with the factory
• Lab dips, strike-offs and sample submits to the Design and Tech departments and passing their comments to factories
• Items forapproval toRetailers and Licensors communicating and following up with their team
• All testingcompliance

Qualifications:

• 5+Years’ experience in apparel Production
