Job summary

Russell Tobin is seeking a Production Operations Coordinator in New York, NY (Hybrid) for a 4-month assignment. You will support day-to-day production operations: PO management, production tracking, logistics coordination, and cross-functional support to ensure timely delivery of merchandise.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of production operations experience, strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and familiarity with Navision/Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP systems.

  • 2–4 years of professional experience in production operations, apparel/fashion, merchandising, supply chain, logistics, procurement, or related field.
  • A college degree is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage purchase orders and production tracking throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Maintain ERP records, production reports, and order information with high accuracy.
  • Track goods on order, in production, and in transit to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with vendors and 3PL partners.
  • Verify packing lists, create shipment documentation, and send inbound shipment notifications.
  • Process goods receipts in ERP systems and follow up with vendors and logistics partners.
  • Maintain logs, dashboards, and reports tracking daily production and shipment activity.
  • Coordinate billing and invoicing processes with Finance.
  • Collaborate with Product Development, Logistics, Finance, and Brand Management teams.
  • Monitor production timelines and identify delays or issues affecting delivery.
  • Support process improvements and operational initiatives as needed.
  • Provide general production and operations support across the team.

Our client, a leading global entertainment company, is seeking a Production Coordinator.

Title: Production Operations Coordinator

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)

Duration: 4 months (08/17/2026 - 12/18/2026)

Pay Range: $18-23/hr. on W2

Job Description:
  • Support day-to-day production operations through purchase order management, production tracking, logistics coordination, reporting, and cross-functional support.
  • Partner with internal teams, vendors, factories, and 3PL partners to manage purchase orders, coordinate shipments, maintain accurate production records, support invoicing processes, and ensure timely delivery of merchandise.
  • This role supports a fast-paced production environment focused on product movement, order management, logistics, and operational coordination. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities across cross-functional teams.

Skills/Abilities:
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
  • Experience with purchase orders, production tracking, and order management.
  • Experience with ERP systems; Navision/Microsoft Dynamics is preferred, with comparable ERP experience acceptable.
  • Experience with logistics coordination, shipment tracking, and vendor communication.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Monday.com or similar project management tools is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe products.
