Job summary

URBN is seeking a Production Coordinating Intern to manage the production process from order placement through manufacturing and delivery, ensuring on-time, quality garments while supporting speed-to-market initiatives and URBN's global expansion from the Home Office in Philadelphia.

The Summer Internship Program offers hands-on experiences across URBN brands, paid internship status, senior leadership exposure, and potential for a full-time interview.

Qualifications

• Progressive sourcing experience within complex, fast paced apparel environment.
• Strong ability to build relationships with cross functional partners and offer innovative solutions to sourcing issues.
• Proven experience with implementing operational efficiencies.
• High integrity, sense of urgency, and motivation by deadlines.
• Effective communication skills.
• Major in Fashion, Supply Chain, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Understand supplier capabilities and opportunities; build plans to align URBN and suppliers.
• Manage production time and action for outstanding development and order placement to meet target dates.
• Foster relationships across stakeholders to drive speed to market and efficiency.
• Review and analyze factory/brand reports to identify opportunities for improvements.
• Oversee TOP process and vendor release shipments; provide recommendations.
• Oversee QA processes with DC regarding shipment releases and compliance as needed.
• Train suppliers on Routing Guides and ensure compliance.
