Job summary

Cherokee Nation Entertainment in Oklahoma is seeking a Production Cook to prepare menu items to standard, manage portions, and support fast-paced kitchen operations across our casino venues.

You will follow recipes, ensure quality and presentation, maintain cleanliness, and work varied shifts including weekends and holidays, contributing to a safe, friendly dining experience with a strong emphasis on health and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1-year related experience or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a food handler’s card.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Comfort working in diverse environments such as kitchens, casino floors, and areas with smoke/noise.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for the assigned venue in accordance with menu standards.
• Follow recipes and portion control to ensure consistency and quality.
• Maintain proper food presentation and timeliness of service.
• Store and handle food correctly to prevent waste and spoilage.
• Uphold cleanliness standards for kitchen operations, equipment, and tools.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment at all times.
• Promote the Big Six values: Fun, Friendly, Quick, Comfortable, Clean, and Safe.
