Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Production Control Planner to schedule and monitor production from order receipt to shipment, ensuring on-time delivery and efficiency. You will control data flow with work tickets, oversee inventory, and track part status in the production system.

The role requires MRP experience, warehousing knowledge, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance, with a HS diploma or GED as a baseline qualification.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production control role in a manufacturing plant.
• Experience with Material Requirement Planning (MRP) software.
• Experience with warehousing or inventory control.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and monitor production from receipt of order to shipment.
• Maintain production schedules to meet on-time delivery and efficiency goals.
• Control the flow of technical data through work tickets and routers to the production floor.
• Provide oversight for inventory control functions including receiving, warehousing, shipping, and inventory.
• Track and obtain the status of parts in the production system and resolve shortages.
• Analyze multi-level bills of material and methods to ensure parts are completed per the master production schedule.
• Create detailed files and records on all projects from bid to completion.
