Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Production Control Specialist II/III to support high-volume manufacturing by driving work order execution, reducing backlog, and maintaining ERP/MRP data integrity.

This contract role involves cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Planning to keep schedules on track and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in production control/planning or related roles.
• Hands-on ERP/MRP experience.
• Experience managing work orders and production schedules.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive work order backlog reduction and closure activities.
• Maintain ERP/MRP data integrity and transaction accuracy.
• Expedite critical production jobs and resolve manufacturing bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Planning teams.
• Track and communicate daily production status and priorities.
• Support work centers to ensure schedule adherence and workflow continuity.
• Identify recurring constraints and elevate process improvement opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in Production Control, Production Planning, Scheduling, Manufacturing Operations, or Material Planning
• Hands-on ERP/MRP experience (SAP, Costpoint, Oracle, or similar systems)
• Experience managing work orders and production schedules
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Willingness to support overtime or alternate shifts when required

Preferred Qualifications

• Backlog remediation or data cleanup experience
• Microsoft Project and advanced Excel skills
• Jira or workflow management tools experience
• Aerospace, Defense, Automotive, or high-volume Manufacturing experience
