Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Production Control Specialist to coordinate and optimize manufacturing schedules for rocket engine production. You will collaborate with manufacturing and test teams to maintain accurate, on-time delivery and manage work center load and capacity planning.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of schedule management experience, strong ERP/MRP system skills, and the ability to thrive in a high-energy environment while upholding a culture of safety and quality in aerospace

Qualifications

  • 3 years schedule management experience.
  • Experience using and managing ERP/MRP systems.
  • U.S. citizen or eligible for employment in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, maintain, communicate and drive the schedule to ensure on time delivery for service centers and integrated areas.
  • Schedule management throughout the day in order to maintain a dynamic accurate schedule. Clearly communicate the status of each job.
  • Coordinate the schedule, plan, and initial staging of material/kits to all vital areas of production and test.
  • Communicate and coordinate upcoming work center load (capacity planning) to provide transparency to area leads.
  • Identify and communicate constraints in the production flow and work with area leads to discuss possible solutions.
  • Interface and connect with internal customers for potential impact or delays in the schedule.
  • Management of WO Instance from creation to completion.
  • Coordinate all part handling that could involve having crates built, packing material for out-plant processes, etc.
  • Updating estimated on-dock dates in scheduling system, ex: assemblies in inventory ready for vehicle install.
