Job summary

Prism Maritime in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a Production Control Engineer I, II, or III to support fabrication operations. You will issue/receive material, schedule production, and develop plans with management to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery for multiple products.

Responsibilities span creating work packages, CNC programming, and collaborating with shop floor teams. Level II/III add metrics development and recovery planning as needed.

Qualifications

  • HS diploma required; Level I requires 1 year reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Level II requires HS diploma; 1 year MS Project scheduling; 1 year drawings reading; forklift experience.
  • Level III requires HS diploma; 1 year MS Project scheduling; 3 years drawing interpretation; 3 years estimating; 2 years forklift.

Responsibilities

  • Organizes issuing and receiving material and monitors budget targets.
  • Coordinates production workflow and assigns worker centers.
  • Monitors progress to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and generates performance metrics.
