Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks an outstanding engineer to join Product Operations in a role that acts as the internal command center for real-time operations and shipments. You’ll own product schedules, coordinate with Korea HQ, and drive improvements in scheduling and productivity systems.

You’ll partner with engineering, operations, and quality teams to resolve issues, implement SOPs, and forecast capacity risks. A strong cross‑functional mindset and 4+ years in manufacturing are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering & Applied Mathematics or equivalent.
• 4+ years in lean manufacturing, factory operations, capacity planning, or project management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Python/SQL/Atlassian tools preferred.
• Experience with automated manufacturing or semiconductor environments a plus.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Own specific product schedules, logistic equipment, or supply chain tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering, shift ops, and quality to fix issues and maintain SOPs.
• Perform capacity analysis and forecast risks; take corrective actions.
• Coordinate factory schedules with internal teams and Korea HQ stakeholders.
• Collaborate with systems tech to improve scheduling and productivity tools.
• Communicate lean initiatives to boost factory efficiency.
• Develop and deploy new tools and lead training to integrate changes.
