Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor in Austin, TX is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to turn maintenance requirements into safe, complete work plans for a large-scale semiconductor facility.

You will build detailed job plans, manage weekly to long-range schedules, coordinate outages, and ensure parts and approvals are ready. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, strong organization, and reliable PM/backlog management.

Qualifications

• Nine or more years of electrical maintenance experience.
• Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or industrial facility operations.
• Experience using a CMMS or computerized work-management system.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed maintenance work plans with scope, labor, tools, and permits.
• Create weekly, two-week, and long-range electrical maintenance schedules.
• Ensure parts, resources, and approvals are ready before scheduling.
• Coordinate outages with Operations, Engineering, CCR, Safety, and contractors.
• Track labor, duration, and material usage to improve estimates.
• Monitor schedule compliance and contractor performance.
