Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to convert maintenance requirements into safe, executable work plans for a large-scale semiconductor facility. You will coordinate labor, materials, contractors, approvals, and equipment access while building comprehensive maintenance schedules.

The role emphasizes preventive and reliability maintenance, backlog reduction, and KPI-driven performance.

Qualifications

• Nine or more years in electrical maintenance or related fields.
• Experience coordinating multiple crafts or contractors.
• Experience using CMMS for work orders and planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed job plans, including scope, labor, duration, tools, materials, permits, LOTO requirements, drawings, and step plans.
• Build and maintain weekly, two-week, and long-range electrical maintenance schedules.
• Verify parts, resources, approvals, and equipment access before scheduling.
• Coordinate planned outages and maintenance activities with Operations, Engineering, CCR, Safety, and contractors.
• Manage preventive, corrective, and reliability-maintenance backlogs within the CMMS.
• Prepare work packages for daily and D-1 operational approval meetings.
• Identify scheduling conflicts, operational risks, and work that may generate alarms or affect facility systems.
• Track planned vs actual labor, duration, and material usage to improve estimates.
• Monitor schedule compliance, overdue work, contractor performance, and maintenance KPIs.
• Support continuous improvement of maintenance procedures, job plans, asset data, and CMMS work-order quality.
