Job summary

InvestedintheMission is seeking a Production Control Clerk III to coordinate and control work orders released to Production and manage parts moving between Production and the Flight Team.

You will execute material repair orders, resolve shortages with cross-functonal teams, and keep the rework board up to date while ensuring timely part availability and a safe, efficient work environment in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of production environment experience recommended.
• Experience with MRP systems, material planning, inventory control, and work order maintenance required.
• Knowledge of computerized MRP systems is critical.
• Inventory control methods and production control techniques understanding essential.
• Experience inputting and maintaining demand in a computerized MRP system.
• Understanding Bills of Material structures.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Execute material repair orders to move product between SMRB and repair cell.
• Coordinate and resolve identified work order part shortages with Purchasing, Quality, and Production Planners.
• Update and prioritize the rework board in production, coordinating with planners.
• Monitor and expedite shortage parts in inspection status through quality, stockroom, and production areas.
• Assist production leads in moving urgent product between cells or through stockroom.
• Issue items in a timely manner to active work orders in sell-off area.
• Notify planners of rejected or shortage parts and rejected production builds.
• Work with Quality to prevent excessive SMRB staging of shortages.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Handle moderately difficult tasks with judgement; follow procedures and learn new assignments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
