Essential Duties & Responsibilities

General description of main/primary duties and responsibilities of the job, aptitude, level of complexity, span of control, autonomy, decision making and judgement. It is central and necessary to the satisfactory performance of the job. Includes the following and other duties as assigned.

  • Responsible for the project oversight and scheduling. Monitor daily progress and manage construction schedules to meet strict deadlines.
  • Coordinate activities across multiple build sites and adjust timelines for delays or change orders.
  • Monitor project expenditures to stay within the established construction budget.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, as-built maps, and compliance paperwork.
  • Responsible for team and personnel management. Recruit, train and mentor new crew members including laborers and specialized subcontractors to ensure adherence to processes and policies.
  • Supervise and direct daily duties for Construction Leads. Assign daily tasks and conduct performance appraisals or disciplinary actions as necessary.
  • Responsible for resource and material coordination. Order necessary materials and equipment, tracking inventory to prevent workflow interruptions.
  • Collaborate with engineers and vendors to resolve design problems or material discrepancies.
  • Ensure safety and compliance by enforcing OSHA standards and other local health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and safety observations to prevent injuries and maintain a secure environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education, Experience, Licensure (minimum level required)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in Production Construction related field.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This role will have supervisory responsibilities over a team. Supervises two (2) or more Full-Time Employees regularly.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Field Related
  • Exposure to computer screens and requires regular use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi‑line telephone system.
  • Extreme Cold and Heat: temperatures typically below 32 °F or above 100 °F for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions as wind, rain, snow, and humidity.
  • Noise: there is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level.
  • Vibration: exposure to oscillating movements of the extremities or whole body.
  • Confined Space: work areas large enough for individual to enter, limited means of entry or exit, and not designed for continue occupancy.
  • Hazards: includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to chemicals, combustibles, explosives, etc.
HOURS / SHIFTS
  • Regular business hours.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Minimally lift, push, carry and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Regularly be able to bend, stoop, crouch, etc.
  • Regular amount of traversing through challenging terrain to perform work, evaluate sites and conditions, inspect equipment/assets, etc.
TRAVEL

Approximate amount of time.

  • Minimal travel may be required to other locations.
  • Frequent travel to Company’s field operations and/or offices. Approximately 75% of time in field.
