Job summary

Eliason Corporation is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations and personnel in our production department. You will ensure safety, quality, and efficiency while coaching team members and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s or higher preferred for some roles.
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in manufacturing or production.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment, safety standards, and quality systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and hold teams accountable to performance and safety.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Proficient with MS Office; familiarity with ERP or production-tracking systems.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct all employees and production activities within assigned area.
  • Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations; promote safety-first culture.
  • Maintain knowledge of production processes, equipment operation, and quality requirements.
  • Meet production goals while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
  • Monitor performance and provide coaching, feedback, and corrective action.
  • Complete daily production reports and ensure data is recorded and communicated.
  • Collaborate with quality, maintenance, engineering, and planning teams to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Provide on-the-job training and cross-training to build skills.
  • Identify and eliminate bottlenecks; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure production paperwork aligns with customer requirements and participate in quality audits.
  • Promote housekeeping and safe work areas.
  • Support company policies and serve as a floor leader with clear communication.
  • Maintain flexibility to support multiple lines or shifts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations and personnel within the Production department. This role ensures that all safety, quality, and operational standards are upheld and that production goals are consistently met. The ideal candidate will be hands‑on, able to lead by example, and committed to fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and cross‑functional teamwork. The Supervisor will play a key role in training, performance feedback, and process improvement while maintaining a strong floor presence and actively engaging with team members to resolve issues, remove obstacles, and support a safe and efficient work environment.

  • Monitor and evaluate individual and team performance; provide coaching, feedback, and corrective action when necessary.
  • Complete daily production reports and ensure operational data is accurately recorded and communicated.
  • Partner with internal teams (quality, maintenance, engineering, planning) to ensure smooth flow of work, material availability, and issue resolution.
  • Provide on‑the‑job training and cross‑training to build skill depth and bench strength within the team.
  • Proactively identify and eliminate bottlenecks or inefficiencies; implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure production paperwork is accurate and aligned with customer requirements.
  • Participate in quality audits and lead corrective action efforts when deviations are identified.
  • Promote housekeeping standards and ensure work areas are clean, organized, and safe.
  • Support compliance with company policies and procedures at all times.
  • Serve as a leader and resource on the floor by maintaining visibility, approachability, and consistent communication.
  • Maintain flexibility to support production needs across multiple lines or shifts as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Safety Requirements
  • Comply with all OSHA, and company safety policies, procedures and requirements.
  • Report to supervision conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment, to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards.
  • Attend scheduled safety training.
  • Actively support the organization’s efforts to meet or exceed safety goals and plans.
  • Recommend improved safety practices.
  • Practices safe work habits and follows general safety procedures such as proper lifting and bending, ergonomics, proper use of equipment and use of personal protection equipment (PPE).
  • Adheres to and ensures lockout procedures are followed any time the equipment is being cleaned or maintained.

Requirements

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Regular use of a computer and standard office equipment is required
  • The job is performed under occasional temperature variations and in a manufacturing production environment.
  • Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with company safety policies.
  • Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration.
  • Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and frequent fine finger dexterity.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks over a 10-12-hour period.
  • Frequently required to sit, talk, or hear; occasionally required to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Work is performed onsite in an office environment within a manufacturing facility
