Garmin is seeking a full-time Production Business Affairs Manager at our U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. You will oversee business affairs, licensing, talent rights, contracts and financial operations supporting global production and stock libraries.

Responsibilities include managing usage rights, budgets, accruals, vendor payments, and cross-functional risk mitigation with Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Production teams. Domestic, EMEA, and APAC productions travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of production experience with emphasis on live-action, broadcast, motion and photography.
• Knowledge of Non-Union/SAG/AFTRA/AFM commercial contracts.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Garmin policies and procedures.

Responsabilités

• Oversee production business affairs, talent rights, contracts, licensing and financial operations.
• Manage usage rights for talent, music, photography and stock assets and track expirations/renewals.
• Partner with Finance and Production to manage budgets, accruals, vendor payments and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Legal on contracts, releases and licensing while mitigating risks.
• Lead global release processes for assets across domestic, EMEA and APAC productions.
• Review project estimates, advise on rights needs and ensure proper licensing in budgets.
• Negotiate and manage agreements with talent, music providers, stock agencies and vendors.
• Coordinate vendor onboarding, POs, documentation, payment processing and purchasing.
• Maintain records in DAM and workflow systems and provide guidance on usage rights policies.
• Support cross-functional teams with training and risk management in business operations.
