Job summary

Manhattan Project Beer Co. is hiring a Brewer to operate and maintain brewing systems from small to large scales, conduct daily quality checks, and participate in product development. The role emphasizes safety, organization, and hands-on production work in a fast-paced brewery environment.

Expect rotating shifts with a focus on consistent quality, adherence to processes, and opportunities to contribute to new beer innovations within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of professional brewing experience.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Follows safety protocols and maintains attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operating brewing systems (50 bbl, 30 bbl, 3 bbl, 10 gal) and CIP.
• Quality measurements, sensory analysis, and participation in product development.
• Maintenance of equipment such as centrifuge, CIP skid, and barrels.
• Maintain clean, organized production area and support forklift/scissor lift operation.

Responsibilities That Make an Impact

As a Brewer at Manhattan Project Beer Co., you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining our high standards of quality and innovation. Your responsibilities will include:

Brewing and Production

• Operating, CIP, and maintaining brewing systems (50 bbl, 30 bbl, 3 bbl, 10 gal).
• Performing fermentation additions, including dry hops, fruit, and finings.

Quality and Innovation

• Conducting daily measurements, sensory analysis, and making process decisions to ensure exceptional quality.
• Participating in product development meetings, sensory panels.

Maintenance and Operations

• Operating and maintaining the centrifuge, CIP skid, and other equipment.
• Racking product in and out of oak barrels.
• Driving and operating forklifts and scissor lifts to support production.

Keeping It Clean and Organized

• Maintaining a clean and organized production area that reflects our commitment to excellence.

Your Schedule

Our team works hard to deliver exceptional beer while maintaining a work-life balance. The schedule includes:

• Rotating morning and afternoon shifts.
• Biweekly weekend duties (approximately 2 hours).
