Job summary

Trulite Glass and Aluminum Solutions in Youngsville, NC is seeking a Production Associate for the Tempering Oven. You will move glass, inspect quality, and support the production flow on a day shift from 6am to 3pm.

Entry-level friendly with 18+ age, and preferred one year of warehouse or production experience; benefits begin day one and quarterly/monthly bonus opportunities enhance earnings. You’ll rotate through areas and uphold safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• One year of warehouse, manufacturing, or production experience preferred.
• Ability to read/read labels and paperwork.
• Ability to read basic measurements and use a tape measure.
• Open to all production areas; rotating tasks.
• Typically Mon-Fri with occasional weekends.
• HS diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move glass between tables, furnace, racks, and trucks for 8+ hours daily.
• Transport materials to expedite production flow.
• Read and attach labels and tags to product.
• Quality inspection and equipment operation.
• Understand facility layout to maintain product flow.
• Rotate through different job functions.
• Inspect for abnormalities and inform supervisor.
• Use tape measure to verify specifications.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area; attend reliably.

Who You Are:

What You Will Be Doing:

• Move glass from, tables, furnace, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours, daily
• Transport of materials including glass from one position/location to another to expedite the production process
• Read and attach appropriate labels and tags to product
• Quality inspection, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment
• Understand layout of the facility to ensure proper product flow
• Perform different job functions on a rotating basis
• Inspect product for any abnormalities and notifying supervisor immediately of any issues (fabrication issues, logo placement, etc.)
• Utilize a tape measure to ensure product is within the product specifications
• Maintain a safe and clean work area
• Regular and predictable attendance, the ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your job

Skills You Bring:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• One year of previous work experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production facility, highly preferred
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labels
• Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measure
• All production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production
• Flexible work availability (typically Monday through Friday with occasional weekends)
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred
