Job summary

Trulite is hiring a Production Associate in Dallas, NC. You will move and inspect glass products, labeling and measuring to ensure quality while supporting timely production flow.

We offer a starting pay of $16 per hour plus a $2 shift premium, with benefits beginning on day one and quarterly/monthly bonus opportunities based on performance. Full-time with rotating shifts and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• One year of warehouse/manufacturing/production experience preferred.
• Must be able to independently lift 75 lbs.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and labels.
• Ability to read and interpret basic measurements and use a tape measure.
• Availability to work in all areas of production; rotating shifts.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Forklift experience a plus.
• Overhead crane experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Move glass from tables, furnace, racks, trucks or crates for eight hours daily.
• Transport materials to expedite production flow.
• Read and attach labels to product.
• Quality inspection and operation of equipment or manual handling.
• Understand facility layout to optimize product flow.
• Perform multiple tasks on a rotating basis.
• Inspect products for abnormalities and notify supervisor as needed.
• Use a tape measure to verify product specifications.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area.
• Maintain regular attendance and safety compliance.

Who You Are:

What You Will Be Doing:

• Move glass from, tables, furnace, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours, daily
• Transport of materials including glass from one position/location to another to expedite the production process
• Read and attach appropriate labels and tags to product
• Quality inspection, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment
• Understand layout of the facility to ensure proper product flow
• Perform different job functions on a rotating basis
• Inspect product for any abnormalities and notifying supervisor immediately of any issues (fabrication issues, logo placement, etc.)
• Utilize a tape measure to ensure product is within the product specifications
• Maintain a safe and clean work area
• Regular and predictable attendance, the ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your job

Skills You Bring:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• One year of previous work experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production facility, highly preferred
• Must be able to independently lift 75lbs
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labels
• Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measure
• All production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production
• Flexible work availability (typically Monday through Friday with occasional weekends)
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred
• Forklift experience a plus
• Overhead crane experience a plus
