Job summary

Trulite Glass and Aluminum Solutions is hiring a Production Associate in Youngsville, NC. The role offers a starting pay of $16 per hour with day shift options (6am-3pm or 7am-4pm) and benefits starting on day one.

Quarterly bonus opportunities and monthly performance incentives are available based on branch and individual performance. Responsibilities include moving glass, labeling, quality checks, equipment operation, and maintaining safe, organized work areas.

Qualifications

• One year of previous work experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production facility, highly preferred.
• Must be able to independently lift 75lbs.
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labels.
• Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measure.
• All production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production.
• Flexible work availability (typically Monday through Friday with occasional weekends).
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move glass from tables, furnace, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours daily.
• Transport materials including glass from one position to another to expedite production.
• Read and attach appropriate labels and tags to product.
• Quality inspection, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment.
• Understand layout of the facility to ensure proper product flow.
• Perform different job functions on a rotating basis.
• Inspect product for abnormalities and notify supervisor immediately of issues.
• Utilize a tape measure to ensure product meets specifications.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Regular and predictable attendance and adherence to safety policies are essential.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Move glass from, tables, furnace, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours, daily
• Transport of materials including glass from one position/location to another to expedite the production process
• Read and attach appropriate labels and tags to product
• Quality inspection, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment
• Understand layout of the facility to ensure proper product flow

• Inspect product for any abnormalities and notifying supervisor immediately of any issues (fabrication issues, logo placement, etc.)
• Utilize a tape measure to ensure product is within the product specifications
• Maintain a safe and clean work area
• Regular and predictable attendance, the ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your job
