Job summary

Domtar in West Carrollton, Ohio is seeking a General Labor/Production Associate for a full-time permanent role. This entry-level production position involves rotating 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts on a Southern swing schedule, with weekend and holiday work.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 18, and be able to work with basic math, reading, writing, mechanical aptitude and computer skills. Forklift experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to work 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Basic math, reading comprehension, writing, mechanical aptitude and computer skills are a must.

Responsibilities

• Follow written or electronic standard operating procedures and instructions.
• Adhere to safety policies while working and operating equipment.
• Operate equipment such as mobile equipment, overhead cranes, winding and coating equipment and packaging equipment.
• Work as part of a team to help everyone succeed.
