Job summary

Chatsworth Products Inc. is seeking a Production Associate to support the paint line and related manufacturing tasks. Under supervision, you will run a production machine, clean and finish parts, and help load/unload materials while maintaining clean, safe work surroundings.

This role emphasizes safety compliance, attention to quality, and teamwork. The position offers pay ranges and the potential for DOE adjustments in a dynamic production environment with employee ownership benefits.

Qualifications

• Able to stand/walk for long periods.
• Lift up to 40 lbs.
• Follow supervisor instructions and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate a dedicated production machine on the paint line.
• Perform parts cleaning, deburring, grinding, graining, sanding or similar tasks as assigned.
• Load and unload parts as required.
• Inspect parts and report quality or mechanical issues to supervision or QA.
• Assist with minor repairs and equipment adjustments as directed.

Production Associate - Paint LinePerforms assigned production tasks not specifically assigned to higher level Production Team Members. Such task could include, but is not limited to, the following: 1) operation of a dedicated production machine, 2) parts cleaning, deburring, grinding, graining, sanding or other such processes, and 3) loading and unloading of parts.Under direct supervision, operates equipment and performs production task as assigned.Inspects and maintains workplace and equipment in compliance with safety requirements. Notifies Team Leader to correct any safety issue prior to performing operations.Inspects parts as specifically instructed. Notifies Team Leader or Quality Assurance Inspector to resolve quality and mechanical problems.
