Job summary

Chatsworth Products Inc. is hiring for a Production Associate in the Grinder/Press Brake area on the 2nd shift. You will perform assigned production tasks, operate machinery, and assist with cleaning and finishing processes.

Physical tasks include lifting up to 40 lbs, standing and moving throughout the shift, with supervision to ensure safety and quality standards are met. The role includes inspecting parts, communicating quality or safety concerns, and performing minor equipment adjustments as

Responsibilities

• Operate a dedicated production machine and perform assigned tasks in the Grinder/Press Brake area.
• Load and unload parts; perform grinding, sanding, deburring or related finishing steps.
• Inspect parts as instructed and report quality or safety issues to supervisors.
• Notify Team Leader to correct safety issues prior to operations; minor equipment adjustments as needed.

Production Associate - Grinder/Press Brake area - 2nd shiftPerforms assigned production tasks not specifically assigned to higher-level Production Team Members. Such task could include, but is not limited to, the following: 1) operation of a dedicated production machine, 2) parts cleaning, deburring, grinding, graining, sanding or other such processes, and 3) loading and unloading of parts.Under direct supervision, operates equipment and performs production task as assigned.Inspects and maintains workplace and equipment in compliance with safety requirements. Notifies Team Leader to correct any safety issue prior to performing operations.Inspects parts as specifically instructed. Notifies Team Leader or Quality Assurance Inspector to resolve quality and mechanical problems.
