Job summary

Chatsworth Products in Simi Valley, CA is seeking an experienced production associate to perform assigned production tasks on a first shift. You may operate a dedicated production machine, handle parts cleaning and finishing, and assist with loading and unloading parts under supervision.

Under direct supervision, you will inspect and maintain equipment for safety, report issues, and support quality with inspectors.

Qualifications

• Frequent standing, walking, carrying, stooping, and crouching
• Lift 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment and performs production tasks as assigned under direct supervision.
• Inspects and maintains workplace and equipment, reports safety issues prior to operations.
• Inspects parts as instructed and coordinates with Team Leader/QA to resolve quality or mechanical problems.
• Performs corrective minor repairs or adjustments as directed by Team Lead/Setup person.

Such tasks could include, but is not limited to, the following: 1) operation of a dedicated production machine, 2) parts cleaning, deburring, grinding, graining, sanding or other such processes, and 3) loading and unloading of parts.

Under direct supervision, operates equipment and performs production task as assigned.

Inspects and maintains workplace and equipment in compliance with safety requirements. Notifies Team Leader to correct any safety issue prior to performing operations.

Inspects parts as specifically instructed. Notifies Team Leader or Quality Assurance Inspector to resolve quality and mechanical problems. Team Lead and/or Setup person will make minor repairs and equipment adjustments, as needed.

Pay range $21.00 - $21.18/hour DOE
