Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Production Associate in the United States to fabricate component parts for final window assembly. The role requires forklift experience, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to perform physically demanding tasks.

Shifts include 1st shift 6:00 am–3:30 pm, Monday–Friday, with overtime when needed. Responsibilities include operating tools and equipment, reading work orders, performing quality checks, and assisting with material

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units.
• May support window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading materials or windows.
• Use hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers to perform workstation functions.
• Read and carry out work orders, labels, and schedules.
• Read a tape measure and inspect for product defects.
• Operate equipment needed to perform the job.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees.

JOB DETAILS

Base Pay Rate: $17.00

Shift available: 1st shift: 6:00 am to 3:30 pm Mon-Fri, plus overtime whenneeded

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Production Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. This job description is reflective of tasks that will be performed in a variety of departments. Forklift experience is required.

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units
• May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows
• Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers
• Understand and carry out verbal instructions
• Read and carry out simple written instructionsRead work orders, labels, and schedules
• Use a tape measure (will be asked to read measurements during interview), inspect, examine, and observe for product defects
• Make fraction and decimal conversions
• Operate any equipment needed to perform a job
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Provide on-the-job training to new employ
• Reads and performs work as assigned by the department Supervisor
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packaging
• Notify supervisor of any mechanical or mater
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• General labor
