Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Production Associate for 1st shift to fabricate components for final window assemblies. This role involves fast-paced, physically demanding work with repetitive tasks, using hand/power tools, reading instructions, and following work orders.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand long hours, and pass a background check and drug screening. Good tape measure skills and manufacturing experience are preferred.

JOB DETAILS

1st Shift Base Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

1st Shift:Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Production Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. This job description is reflective of tasks that will be performed in a variety of departments.

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units
• May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows
• Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers
• Understand and carry out verbal instructions
• Read and carry out simple written instructions
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules
• Use a tape measure (will be asked to read measurements during interview), inspect, examine, and observe for product defects
• Make fraction and decimal conversions
• Operate any equipment needed to perform a job
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees

• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
• Preferably with experience in manufacturing
