Job summary

Sonova USA, Inc. in Aurora, Illinois, seeks a Production Associate I to perform manufacturing tasks for Custom and BTE devices. The role requires manual dexterity, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to stand for extended periods.

You will support various assembly and testing activities, maintain clean workstations, participate in quality improvements, and flex to different positions as business needs require to meet team goals.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma OR GED / equivalent.
  • 1 - 3 years' experience in manufacturing.
  • Flex to various positions as business needs require.
  • Able to follow work instructions and safety procedures (ESD).
  • Willingness to work in a team; good communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Custom device functions: Cut / Trim / Sanding; Lacquer; Tube Installation; Acoustical Testing.
  • Perform BTE functions: Assembly; Repair; Acoustical Testing; Invoicing; Packing; Kitting / Picking.
  • Maintain workstation in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.
  • Visually inspect product, identify defects / rejects, and escalate issues as required.
  • Performs general routine machine maintenance and daily workstation clean-up.
  • Active participation in quality improvement processes.
  • Initiates process improvements and motivates peers to achieve team goals.
  • Meets established individual and team goals.
  • Flex to various positions as business needs require.
