Job summary

AAF International is seeking a manufacturing assembler to join our operations team. The role involves assembling filters by placing media into frames, securing components with various fasteners, and ensuring frames are square and meet pleat specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assemble filters by placing media into pre-assembled filter frames and secure with bolts, staples, etc.
• Clean off excess urethane from the production filter frame before moving to the next stage.
• Verify the filter frame is square according to specifications.
• Check and maintain correct pleat count where applicable.
• Produce quality filters that meet company specifications in a fast-paced environment.

• Assemble filters – put various types of media into pre-assembled filter frames; pour urethane and secure together by various measures, such as, bolts staples, etc.


• Clean off excess urethane from production filter frame prior to moving to the next stage (where applicable).


• Confirm frame is square based on the filter specifications provided.


• Measure and maintain correct pleat count (where applicable).


• Produce quality filters and meet Company specifications in a fast-paced environment.

Perform other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements

• TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to read a tape measure.


• Must be able to read and understand written work instructions.

Knowledge/Experience

• 6 months’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Education Requirement

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
