Job summary

Tig Distributing, Inc. in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Production Associate to support daily production operations by preparing, processing, packaging, and inspecting products in compliance with safety and quality standards.

You will operate equipment, perform quality checks, maintain a clean work area, complete batch records, and collaborate with teammates to meet production goals while following GMPs, food safety guidelines, and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
• Willingness to wear PPE and follow safety protocols.
• Clear written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Monitor production to ensure consistent product quality and report issues.
• Perform quality checks on raw and finished products and labeling accuracy.
• Follow GMPs and food safety guidelines to prevent contamination.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment.
• Assist in setup, changeover, and cleanup between runs.
• Complete production logs and batch records for traceability.
• Report food safety or quality concerns to supervisors immediately.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
• Participate in training related to Food Safety, Allergen Control, HACCP, and Workplace Safety.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
