Job summary

PDM Company is seeking a Production Associate for its Boone, IA facility. The role focuses on supporting daily production operations, preparing, processing, packaging and inspecting products in compliance with GMPs, safety and quality standards.

You will operate equipment safely, monitor quality, perform checks, maintain logs, and participate in training on food safety and HACCP. A strong work ethic and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to wear PPE and follow safety protocols.
• Detail-oriented and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and machinery safely and efficiently per procedures.
• Monitor production to ensure consistent product quality and report any issues.
• Perform quality checks on raw and finished products including visual inspections and labeling accuracy.
• Follow GMPs, food safety guidelines, sanitation procedures, and SOPs to prevent contamination.
• Maintain a clean, organized and sanitized work area and equipment.
• Assist in setup, changeover and cleanup of production equipment between runs.
• Accurately complete production logs and batch records for traceability.
• Report food safety or quality concerns to the Production Manager or QA immediately.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet production goals.
• Participate in ongoing training related to Food Safety, Allergen Control, HACCP and Workplace Safety.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
