Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring for a 2nd shift production role at our Tolleson, AZ facility. Base pay is $18.00 per hour with a $1.00 shift differential. Shifts vary by day and can include 8, 10, or 12 hour durations.

You will perform material handling, packaging, stacking, and assist machine operators while working safely in a fast-paced environment. Applicants should have at least one year of manufacturing experience; forklift and overhead crane experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of related work experience in manufacturing or comparable environment.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Overhead crane experience is a plus.
• In-house forklift/overhead crane training and certification provided by the company.
• General mathematical knowledge and ability to use basic measuring tools.
• Able to work in a hot environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.

Job Description

JOB DETAILS

Base Pay: $18.00 per hour

Shift differential: $1.00 per hour

2nd Shift: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manual material handling
• Packaging
• Stacking material
• Assisting machine operators
• Handle basic powered hand tools
• Work safely and effectively to meet deadlines
• Work safely and collaboratively within a team environment

Qualifications

• A minimum of one (1) year of related work experience in manufacturing or comparable work environment

• Company provides in house training and certification of forklift/overhead crane
• General mathematical knowledge and proficiency with basic measuring instruments
• Able to work in a hot environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist

This is a position with the potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.
