Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a forklift/overhead crane operator for its Anthony, TX branch. The day shift runs from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and duties include loading/unloading materials, operating a forklift and overhead crane, and ensuring accurate customer orders.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to become certified to operate equipment. Physical lifting of up to 50 pounds is required; safety PPE must be used, and ERP inventory updates performed daily.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.

• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage. Assist co-workers and customers.
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas.
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment

Base pay starts at $15.75 per hour
